The SC303 and SC503 are innovative combinations of a high-amp shunt and tank level module. They provide complete battery monitoring — including charge status, current and voltage readings, and compartment temperature.
With additional inputs on the module, they also monitor voltage or resistance sensors, like tank levels. The high-amp shunt can measure:
- Current draw from inverters, thrusters, anchor winches
- Charging from shore power and solar panels
SC303: 300A continuous current
SC503: 500A continuous current
Both models offer:
- 2 × Voltage inputs (up to 75V)
- 2 × Resistance inputs (tank level or temp)
- 1 × JST socket for temperature sensor
- 1 × Current sensor (300A or 500A)
HOW TO CONNECT
WIRING OPTIONS
You can wire the shunts to either the LOW (−) or HIGH side (+), unless the voltage of the system exceeds 35V. In this case, the shunt must be wired to the LOW (−) side.
You can also mix the shunts' wiring, by connecting some to the positive and some to the negative side.
This is convenient for retrofitting in existing boats and campervans.
Multiple shunts can be daisy-chained together or linked to other expansion modules.
